Compressed Air

1. Compressed Air Requirement Mapping
2. Compressor, Air Receivers, Air Dryer Selection
3. Air Piping Routing and Design
4. Equipment Selection, Installation and Commissioning

Compressed air requirement mapping is done keeping in mind continuous and peak load. Compressor , air receiver and dryer are selected accordingly. Pipe route is designed for minimum loss and easy operation ( In case of assembly line, flexibility to change orientation is needed). Support structure is designed keeping in mind location of usage points, possibility of hanging or structural support and economics.

Equipments like compressors are selected on basis of maintenance and service center in the locality. Location of compressor is fixed keeping in mind serviceability , minimum loss in transit, Noise generated by compressor and other noise levels in the factory, clean air availability inside compressor room / premises.

The receiver size is designed as per the ratio of 1/6 to 1/10 of the total CFM requirement. The compressor capacity is selected at 1.6 to 1.8 times total CFM requirement. Pipeline size and routing is done to achieve maximum pressure drop of 0.1 / 0.2 Bar at farthest point.
